Literary Typing Studio ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in via Google, your name and profile picture as provided by Google.

We collect typing session data including words per minute (WPM), accuracy, character count, and session duration. This data is linked to your account to power the Progress feature.

We do not collect payment card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, which has its own privacy policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your email to authenticate your account and send transactional messages (e.g. password reset). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

Typing session data is used solely to display your personal progress history. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: Google OAuth (authentication), Supabase (database), and Stripe (payments). Each has its own privacy policy.

5. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@lit-typing.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use session cookies solely for authentication purposes. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Children's Privacy

Literary Typing Studio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
